When to Use Mepilex Heel:

Mepilex Heel is an absorbent dressing designed for a variety of low to medium exuding wounds, specifically for use on the heel or malleolus. It effectively absorbs exudate, minimizing the risk of maceration. Thanks to its Safetac® interface, Mepilex Heel can be removed with minimal trauma to the wound or surrounding skin. Safetac also ensures that the dressing does not stick to the wound bed while gently adhering to the surrounding skin, allowing for easy application of secondary fixation. If additional fixation is needed, Mepilex Heel can be secured with Tubifast®.
