Mepilex Ag is a versatile antimicrobial foam dressing designed to reduce bioburden in wounds. It is suitable for low to medium exuding burns and wounds, including leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and partial-thickness burns.

This silver foam dressing inactivates wound-relevant pathogens (bacteria and fungi) within 30 minutes. An international consensus supports antimicrobial action to help reduce bioburden in infected wounds. It also acts as an antimicrobial barrier for wounds at high risk of infection or re-infection.

Mepilex Ag adheres gently with Safetac, the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion, helping patients experience less pain during dressing changes.
