If you fall into the small percentage of ostomates that cannot tolerate a hernia support belt over your stoma, then we have now developed a 'standard belt' available with a 'pre-cut' hole that can be adjusted to fit around a wide range of stoma pouches and flange sizes. The belt offers a level 3, firm support and also features an internal ‘horseshoe shaped’ pad to offer extra support for a hernia around the stoma site (parastomal hernia). Simply place the hole around the stoma appliance and then secure in place by way of a VELCRO® tab fastening. No need to feed the stoma pouch through a small stretchable hole. Suitable for parastomal hernia, incisional or umbilical hernias.
