Product Features

AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings were specifically designed to combat the challenge of biofilm with its MORE THAN SILVER™ Technology, combined with Hydrofiber® Technology.

MORE THAN SILVER™ technology

  • Disrupt and destroy biofilm. Specifically developed to win the battle against biofilm, MORE THAN SILVER™ technology contains three components; ionic silver together with a surfactant and metal chelating agent, which work together to deliver superior anti-biofilm performance.
  • Rapid, superior and sustained anti-biofilm activity against antibiotic-resistant biofilm and prevents reformation of biofilm.2

Hydrofiber® Technology

Helps create an ideal environment for healing – and for the MORE THAN SILVER™ Technology to work.

  • Locks in excess exudate, bacteria and biofilm to help minimise cross infection and prevent maceration.*3-4
  • Micro contours to the wound bed, maintaining optimal moisture balance and eliminating dead spaces where bacteria and biofilm can grow*5-6
  • Responds to wound conditions by forming a cohesive gel, while helping to minimise pain associated with dressing changes.*7-8
