Description

Experience advanced wound care with AQUACEL® Foam Dressings, available in adhesive and non-adhesive options to suit a wide range of needs. Each dressing combines a soft, absorbent foam pad with an AQUACEL® Hydrofiber® interface and a gentle silicone layer to deliver comfort, simplicity, and clinically backed healing performance.

Designed to help protect against contamination, the outer film provides a waterproof viral and bacterial barrier, allowing patients to shower and bathe while reducing the risk of infection. Inside, the foam and Hydrofiber® materials lock in wound exudate, including harmful components, helping manage moderate to high levels of fluid. Upon contact with wound fluid, the Hydrofiber® layer forms a soft, cohesive gel that conforms closely to the wound bed, supports a moist environment, and aids in the atraumatic removal of non-viable tissue.

The adhesive option features a skin-friendly silicone border engineered to adhere to intact surrounding skin—never the wound bed—for secure wear and gentle, low‑trauma removal. The non-adhesive option is ideal when a secondary fixation is preferred or when skin sensitivity is a concern. Both formats are sterile and designed for comfortable wear across various anatomical areas, including specialized shapes for sacral and heel applications.

  • Waterproof, viral and bacterial barrier helps reduce infection risk
  • High absorption with foam + Hydrofiber® technology for effective exudate management
  • Moisture-balancing gel formation supports optimal healing conditions
  • Gentle silicone adhesive adheres to surrounding skin, not the wound bed
  • Skin-friendly application and removal with low potential for irritation or sensitization
  • Sterile options in border and borderless formats for versatile placement

Trusted by clinicians, AQUACEL® Foam Dressings deliver the protection, absorption, and comfort patients need—backed by proven performance in exudate management and adhesion.
